REQUEST FOR BIDS

CELL 2E 3A PUMP STATION REHABILITATION 

RFB # 23-0455 

 This Request for Bids (RFB) is being used to solicit responses from suitably qualified, experienced, and licensed contractors for services related to the rehabilitation of cell 2E3A landfill rehabilitation project in New Hanover County, North Carolina.

Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of North Carolina at the time proposals are submitted. Pursuant to N.C.G.S. S87-15, it will be necessary for contractors to show evidence of such license in the bid document.

Bids will be received by Lena Butler, Purchasing Supervisor, for “RFB # 23-0455 CELL 2E 3A PUMP STATION REHABILITATION” until 3:00 P.M. EST, Wednesday, June 7, 2023.

The bidder MUST arrange to visit the site located at 5210 Highway 421 North, Wilmington, North Carolina.  Bids will only be accepted from Bidders who have visited the site.  Site visits are available by appointment only between the hours of 8am and 12 noon Tuesday, May 23-26, 2023.  Contact Sam Hawes, Landfill Manager, at 910-798-4454 or .      It is the Bidder’s responsibility to obtain all information that may be necessary for preparing their Bid and entering into a contract with the County.  Any costs shall be at the Bidder’s own expense.
