Fire Prevention Month Read Along

Join our friends from New Hanover County Fire Rescue for a book reading and signing at Cape Fear Museum!
Author Maria Bostian will read “Firefighters’ Busy Day!” and lead visitors on a storywalk through the Museum’s park. Pages from the children’s book will be printed and displayed along a walkable path in the park to encourage families to engage in literacy while being active. Enjoy fun activities, taking photos at the selfie station, and exploring the Museum’s Fire! exhibition before it closes in November. The first 30 families that attend will receive a free signed copy of the book.
If you are unable to make it for the program at 10 am, the storywalk will be available throughout the day for families to explore on their own.
