The River to the Sea Bikeway: Bike Route 1 (Map)
This 12 mile route follows the Historic Trolley route from downtown Wilmington (Water and Market Streets) to Wrightsville Beach. Much of the route follows Park Avenue, two blocks north of Oleander Drive.

Cross Sound Route: Bike Route 2 (Map)
This 2.6 mile route connects from (River Road to NC Bike Routes 3 and 5) to Southside Route (Carolina Beach Road and the Sound Loop Roads).

Ports of Call: Bike Route 3 (Map)
This 300 mile route from Virginia to South Carolina takes you through all the major North Carolina Ports of the Colonial Era. Around Wilmington it follows Third Street and River Road south to the Ferry at Ft. Fisher. The length is forty (40) miles in New Hanover County.

Echo Sounds Route: Bike Route 4 (Map)
This 6.3 mile route starts on River Road (NC Bicycle Highways 3 and 5), Echo Farms, to Masonboro Loop Road and connects to the Southside Route (Bike Route 11).

Cape Fear Run: Bike Route 5 (Map)
This 160 mile route roughly parallels the Cape Fear River form Apex to Southport. The length is thirty three (33) miles in New Hanover County. It follows US 421 to join up with Bike Route 3.

Pine Valley Loop: Bike Route 6 (Map)
A 2.6 mile clockwise loop of the Pine Valley Golf Course follows Robert E. Lee Drive. A connection can be made with the Echo-Sound Route (Bike Route 4) via St. Andrews Dr at Pine Valley Elementary School.

Independence Route: Bike Route 7 (Map)
Wrightsboro (NC Bike Route 5 to Forest Hills to Echo Farms to River Rd (NC Bike Routes 3 and 5) and uses part of the river to the Sea Route (City Bike Route 1).

Lakes and Parks Route: Bike Route 8 (Map)
A seven (7) mile route that connects to Sunset Park (NC Bike Routes 3 and 5)/Greenfield Lake to Glen Meade to South Oleander to Lincoln Forest to Sound Loop Roads.

Kerr Central Route: Bike Route 9 (Map)
This is a 5.8 mile trip that connects from Murrayville to UNCW to the River and finally stopping at the Sea Route (City Bike Route 1).

Greenfield Lake Route: Bike Route 10 (Map)
This 4.5 mile loop trail winds around Greenfield Lake park. Greenfield Lake is surrounded by azaleas and dogwoods, which are a highlight of the annual NC Azalea Festival held every spring. In the summer, canoes can be rented for a quiet paddle through this old mill pond.

Soundside Route: Bike Route 11 (Map)
This 18 mile trip features the Middle Sound Area/Ogden to Carolina Beach Rd. at Snow's Cut (NC Bike Routes 3 and 5).

UNC Wilmington Route: Bike Route 12 (Map)
This 10 mile route starts downtown on NC Routes 3 and 5 to Forest Hills to UNCW to the River to the Sea Route (City Bike Route 1) to Wrightsville Beach.

Green Meadows Route: Bike Route 13 (Map)
This 6.4 mile route connects from King's Grant to Spring View and Dutch Square and ends at UNCW.

Murrayville Route: Bike Route 14 (Map)
This 4.6 mile route connects from Wrightsboro (NC Bike Route 5) to Brittany Place.

Porters Neck Time Trial Loop: Bike Route 15 
This 4.5 mile loop starts at the corner of Champ Davis Road and Porter's Neck Road.
