Garner Economics Target Analysis; the Final Report

(New Hanover County, N.C.) - New Hanover County has received the final economic development target analysis report from Jay Garner titled Pathways to Prosperity: New Hanover County's Plan for Jobs and Investment and it's critical companion piece, the Competitive Realties Report. Both documents are available for download here:

Please join us in the Assembly Room of the New Hanover County Historic Courthouse, Room 301 in Wilmington on Wednesday April 2, 2014 at 2 p.m. as Jay Garner of Garner Economics LLC presents the details of his findings and resulting study to the New Hanover County Commissioners and members of the Wilmington City Council.

For those unable to attend, the meeting will be streamed live on the County's website at www.nhcgov.com/NHCLive and will be broadcast live on NHCTV via Time Warner Channel 13/16.10 and Charter Channel 5.

Commissioners to receive Economic Development report during Special Meeting

​(New Hanover County, N.C.) - New Hanover County hopes you will be able to join us in the Assembly Room of the New Hanover County Historic Courthouse, Room 301 in Wilmington on Wednesday April 2, 2014 at 2 p.m. as Jay Garner of Garner Economics LLC presents the much anticipated economic development target analysis report.

New Hanover County Commissioners and members of the Wilmington City Council will hear and respond to Jay’s findings after his extensive analysis of the region’s economic drivers and job creation opportunities.

While this meeting will not include a public comment period, applicable policy and ordinance changes that might be considered as a result of the report’s recommendations will be heard during the appropriate public participation process of subsequent Planning Board and Governing Board meetings.
