2010 ABSTRACTS ARE IN THE MAIL

Real Estate is permanently listed.  All you need to list concerning real estate are any improvements you make to the real estate.

2010 Personal and Business Personal Property abstracts will be mailed December 31st.  These forms will be mailed to those individuals and business' that listed property in 2009.  If you did not list property in 2009 but now have property that needs to be listed, please contact our Information Center at (910) 798-7300 and they will be happy to send you a form.  If you did list personal property last year and do not have a form by January 15th, please contact the Information Center and they will make arrangements to send a form to you.

The income for the Senior Citizen Disability Exclusion will remain at $25,600.  To qualify for 2010, you must be 65 years of age or permanently and totally disabled on January 1st,  own and live in your home or mobile home January 1st and your income for 2009 does not exceed $25,600, contact the Info Center for an application which must be returned to our office by June 1st.
