The Collections office is responsible for the collection of all property taxes levied by New Hanover County and the municipalities of Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. In addition to property tax, the office also oversees the billing and collection of the Room Occupancy Tax and the Rental Vehicle Tax. Additional services provided include the issuance of County business licenses and mobile home moving permits.

Although our department can not accept debit or credit cards, you can pay your bills through Official Payments. To pay by credit card call 1-800-2PAY-TAX (1-800-272-9829) or visit them at www.officialpayments.com. There will be a convenience fee for this service that is paid to Official Payments.
