Welcome to the New Hanover County Register of Deeds web site. The Register of Deeds is the custodian of all county land records. We also file Financing Statements, (UCC's), Maps, Vital Records, Notary Public records, and many miscellaneous legal records such as Powers of Attorney, Separation Agreements, and business names.
