TRAVELING?  Services Provided:

• Nurse consultation including review of recommended vaccinations and medications for travel to your desired area, such as typhoid, yellow fever, japanese encephalitis, & adult polio vaccinations
  
  
• A customized travel report detailing your travel itinerary which includes travel risks, precautions, diseases, and safety
  
  
• Documentation of vaccines, including required documentation for yellow fever vaccination
  

Fees:

• Nurse consultation fee
  
  
• Fee for each vaccine or medication – priced separately
  

 Appointment Scheduling:

• Services are provided by appointment only.  Appointments are limited.
  
  
• Prior to scheduling an appointment follow the steps below:
  
  
1. On the Internet, go to www.mdtravelhealth.com to determine your vaccine/medication needs for your travel destination.
   
   
2. Review the information on vaccines/medications available at the New Hanover County Health Department by clicking on the applicable links here:
    

• Call 798-6611 to schedule an appointment
  
  
• Provide a minimum of four weeks to receive vaccinations and/or medications prior to your trip (the recommended time is 4 to 6 weeks before departure).
