How can the Child Service Coordination Program support children and families?

Your Child Services Coordinator has information about a wide variety of family-oriented resources. Your Coordinator will:

  • Discuss your family strengths and concerns through home visits, telephone calls and other personal contacts
  • Identify programs, services and resources that meet your family's needs
  • Assess developmental screenings
  • Serve as a link between you and your child's medical provider
  • Suggest ways you can strengthen parent-child relationships
  • Introduce you to parent support programs
  • Offer encouragement and support
