Goal: To promote, protect, and assure the optimal oral health of the citizens of New Hanover County
Strategies: The Dental Health Division utilizes numerous strategies to improve the oral health of our citizens which involve increased use of dental sealants, periodic dental assessments with referral, dental health education, community water fluoridation, and activities to assure access to care.
