Requests for Public Information

Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 163-82.10, the county board of election may furnish selective lists of public information.

When you request voter lists or selective reports, it is important to be very specific about the data you are requesting as well as the file format you need.  The New Hanover County Board of Elections has the ability to furnish reports in a variety of file formats.  For example, if you are a Windows user who has an older version of Microsoft Excel, we can save the file format that best displays in the software you use.  The most commonly requested file formats are as follows: PDF, XLS, CSV, TXT.  Keep in mind that pdf files open with Acrobat Reader.  Ensure you have the latest version.
