Facts
Bikes are stolen everyday in Wilmington. Many of these bikes are recovered however due to the owners not having the serial number, the bikes are never returned because we do not know who they belong to. The best way for the Police Department to identify who the rightful owner of a bike is by City Registration. Not only is this important if a bike is stolen, it is a law in Wilmington if you are a City resident.
