Effective October 9, 2009, the New Hanover County Health Department will only take appointments for seasonal flu vaccinations for children, until further notice.

 

H1N1 Vaccine is in short suply nationwide. Small shipments are being received weekly at the New Hanover County Health Department and at other health care providers' offices and clinics in our community.

 

If you are in one of the target groups to receive H1N1 first, please call your physician or the health department to be included in the priority list to be called back as vaccine is received. If you would like an appointment when more H1N1 vaccine is available, please call 798-6646.
