Education

The Dental Health Division provides dental health education for many adults and community groups.  We provide adults with information on healthy lifestyles regarding diet, brushing, flossing, use of fluorides, and the need for regular dental care.  We also provide information on the prevention of oral cancer as well as other oral diseases.

Oral Health Assessments with Referral

Oral Health Assessments are provided by the Dental Health Division for many senior adults throughout the community.  These assessments involve a check for cavities, gum disease, ill-fitting dentures, and oral cancer.  Adults found having problems are referred for appropriate treatment.
