The Department of Environmental Management would like to congratulate the Residents of New Hanover County for their outstanding effort to do the right thing and go above and beyond the call to use the Recycling Drop-Off Sites.

The County also recycles a large amount of material at the landfill area and the Waste-To-Energy Plant which includes white goods, scrap steel, tires and construction & demolition debris such as sheetrock and wood waste.
