The New Hanover County Board of Elections promotes all interests from the general public in the areas of voter registration, voter education, and voting programs. In order to support these areas, the New Hanover County Board of Elections takes an active role by accepting requests to participate in voter registration drives, public speaking forums, and conducting civic oriented elections.

A written request must be provided to the New Hanover County Board of Elections office describing the type of activity including dates, materials and equipment needed for the event.

The New Hanover County Board of Elections will not consider participating in any event that is 90 days before or after an election not withstanding NCGS 163-82.25.
